Procrastination will have you sitting in the same spot you were in the previous year.
What's blocking you from moving forward? Are you waiting for everything in your business plan to be picture-perfect?
"The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute." Proverbs 12:24
I can attest from personal experience that my initial business model has changed. I've had to pivot since starting this journey. Entrepreneurship takes consistent prayer, faith, courage, patience, and dedication.
You will have obstacles and setbacks. Mistakes will definitely be made, but that's okay. You have to cut your teeth and experience growing pains.
In the beginning, you're learning, so take good notes and journal. Once you progress, you can reflect on your weak points, and marvel at how far you've progressed.
You shouldn't throw in the towel at the first sign of trouble. Instead, you must pause, pray, reboot, and begin again.
Persistence is key.
When tempted to quit, remember this well-known idiom: "It's a marathon, not a sprint."
So, get moving, and allow God to guide and navigate every single step of your entrepreneurial journey!
Here are some Bible verses to encourage you when you lose hope:
"A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps." Proverbs 16:9
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand." Psalms 37:23-24
